Why everyone keeps coming back.

Dave's Hot Chicken in Vancouver, WA, is a fiery haven for anyone craving bold, flavorful chicken with a spicy kick. Specializing in Nashville-style hot chicken, this popular spot delivers a menu full of crave-worthy options that cater to spice lovers and casual diners alike. Whether you're after a hearty meal to share or a quick, satisfying bite, Dave’s Hot Chicken crafts each dish with a commitment to punchy heat and mouthwatering taste.

Dive into their signature Hot Box Sliders, offering 10 delectable sliders with your choice of two heat levels—ranging from mild warmth to the daring Reaper®—each slider boasting crispy, juicy chicken layered with pickles and their signature sauce. If you’re feeding a group, the Hot Box Dave's Bites is an irresistible platter of 40 pieces of tender white meat chicken bites, perfectly paired with sliced bread and a side of Dave’s famous sauce that tangibly elevates every bite. For a classic experience, their Hot Box Tenders are sizable, tender, and come in customizable heat levels, ensuring each craving is perfectly satisfied.

Complement your meal with comforting sides like creamy mac & cheese, crispy cheese fries, or refreshing kale slaw. The fries are especially praised for their crispiness and flavor, pairing seamlessly with any of the sauces, including the sought-after Dave’s sauce packet. Feeling adventurous? Try their unique frozen slushers—such as the Strawberry Lemonade or the indulgent Rocket Creme Slusher—to cool down the heat with a sweet, frosty sip.

The atmosphere at Dave’s Hot Chicken is casual and inviting, with vibrant artwork decorating the walls that add a lively touch to your dining experience. Customers consistently commend the staff for their friendly, helpful service, making it a great spot for families and friends. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a casual meal with loved ones, there’s a buzz of energy that complements the food’s fiery spirit.

Many patrons share their excitement about the generous portion sizes—the tenders and sliders are remarkably large, offering great value. Spice enthusiasts will appreciate the well-crafted heat levels; however, it’s worth noting that the hottest options, like the Reaper®, deliver an intense punch that is not for the faint of heart. One customer amusingly mentioned how it made their face go numb and sweat profusely, a testament to the authentic heat Dave’s prides itself on.

Dave’s Hot Chicken strikes a thrilling balance between bold spices and savory flavors, making it a must-visit destination for anyone passionate about hot chicken. From the first crispy bite to the cooling sip of a frozen slusher, this local favorite delivers an experience that excites the palate and warms the soul.

Really great food and atmosphere. Everyone was so helpful and kind! We got the Dave’s 40 bites, mac n cheese, and the cheese fries. Everything was absolutely delicious! My kids devoured it!

Great chicken and fries. If you you like spicy, this place has options for you. I find the extra Hot and reaper to be very spicy but not as tasty. Tenders are very large. A single with fries is a good meal.

I loved the art on the walls, the service was alright nothing to complain about there. The food was alright, it was spicy for sure but it just tasted like someone dropped and entire bottle of paprika on the chicken tender and fried it. The meat itself was kinda chewy so i didnt even end up finishing the 2 PC I got and only had half of one and then had the fries. They give you one little thing of sauce thats not filled to the top so idk it was pretty mid. Loved the art tho

Massive tenders. I got the “Hot” level and it had a kick. So much flavor too, unlike Canes…Sauce was good and pricing isn’t bad for the amount of food. I wish they had another option instead of the bread. We ordered 5 of the #1 combos and service was fast and friendly.

First off let me say their hottest flavor is, well, ... it made me sweat so acid-y my face turned numb lol I tried it last month.. I would recommend just hot.. extra hots almost too much but they are great flavors.. Dave's rules over most of the competitions chicken sandwich, I think.

I love this place! On the rare occasion I eat "fast food" this is my number one choice. You can't beat the price for the amount of food you get and the freshness of the ingredients. My go to is the slider and add honey. Sooo yummy. Sometimes there can be a little wait, but it's always worth it. And they don't charge for extra sauce!

Listen… I walked into Dave’s Hot Chicken as a normal human being. I walked out a changed man — spiritually, emotionally, and slightly dehydrated from sweating through my shirt like I just finished basic training. I ordered the medium because I thought I was tough. First bite? Flavor slapped me across the face like it had been waiting its whole life to humble me. Second bite? I saw my ancestors. Third bite? I became one with the universe. By the fourth bite I was bargaining with God but also refusing to stop eating because it was THAT good. The chicken was so juicy it should be illegal. The seasoning? NASA could use it to launch rockets. And that Dave’s sauce? Bro… if I could legally marry a condiment, I’d be printing invitations right now. The staff treated me like royalty — royalty that was definitely about to sweat through their shirt and cry in the parking lot — but royalty nonetheless. By the end, I wasn’t eating food… the food was eating me. And honestly? I would let it again. 10/10. Would scorch my soul for this chicken every day of the week. If you haven’t been yet, go. Just bring napkins, water, and possibly a therapist.
